Ok so as promised to all my readers the first decade is 1920s
So I thought I would first talk about how the #1920s inspired the Hair industry. Well the roaring twenties was influenced by the Dance, Jazz and Old Holly wood. As well as Hair this decade was about being fabulous. Fashion, Beauty which we are still using in 2018. The Iconic looks of the '20s are still used over and over again becoming Classics. The look in which the '20 gave us the most influence was of course the BOB In Fact the Bob was frowned on in the UK and by Men and women across the world. But its not to dissimilar to your teenagers daughter getting there nose or belly button pierced. It was frowned on by the fact that it was linked to partying all hours dancing and of course Old Hollywood. Not to dissimilar to you buying a fashion magazine #Vogue and reflecting the looks. Ok this fact is actually so interesting so how much did the maintenance cost in the '20s. well the average cost for a year was £80 pound that includes Products, weekly styling and hair cuts. In todays money that would be the equivalent to £3,387.48. Wow that totals to approximately £282.29 a month. What happened this means we spend whole lot less as a nation on our hair. Something to think about when your picking up a cheap bottle of shampoo in your local super market. As Cheryl says "Your worth it". Comments are closed.
