Roll it Cool it ( Top Tip )

This weekend I was walking around the town centre and I wasn't surprised to see the majority of people with long hair wrapped up or pulled up in to a pony.

So I decided to research the reasons why. I asked a couple of the public why they put there hair up with some strange answers. A lot of women where a little dramatic. One answer I received was from a mum who said as fast as I blow dry my hair its wet again. Its just to hot! !!!

Well that got me thinking.  Hmm....

I was walking around the town looking for an answer.

Till I realised a simple solution what if there was a roll on with a cooling agent.

So after a quick google search I realised that there are a couple of products on the market already which I will list below.

Aveda cooling balancing oil

#Aveda has found it, Although this oil is described as a coolant for achy muscles it delvers a cooling sensation giving your skin a sense of refreshment.

Retail price £16.00 7mls

Simply apply to the back of your neck, behind your ears before starting your blow-drying its little roller helps you apply evenly.
This will help you get through your blow dry with out sweating buckets.

Don't ruin your blow-drying.
To stop your neck from getting sticky In the hot humid sun just pop in your bag and when you fill a little hot under the collar just reapply.

How to Make Your Own

2. Chose your essential oil make sure it has a cooling property for example spearmint or peppermint will do the trick. Lots of places  sell essential oils. I always keep a stock of essential oils. very cheap to bye around £3 to £6 depending on the retailer.

  •  3. Rapeseed oil is another inexpensive ingredient. Rapeseed oil also know as canola oil is packed with goodness and is in may skin product. Packed with antioxidants and vitamin E both effective in promoting healthier skin and hair can be found in supermarkets world wide. picked mine up for £2 from local supermarket.

Once you have all 3 its time to mix it all together. Making sure your roller has been cleaned out and is ready to use depending on the size of your roller.
Add roughly 2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil to 6 drops of your essential oil as a rough guide. Then simply screw on your roller shake then your ready to go.

Total cost £6.00 Barging plus fun to make any questions just pop them in to comments box below.
